Leanne JonsonDiploma in Children’s Services Leanne has worked in Childcare since 1995. Leanne owned and ran a highly successful Childcare Centre, with her business partners, up until late 2012, when the business was sold. Leanne has two adult children and a motorbike that keeps her busy on weekends and holidays. Leanne said, “I enjoy my choice to work with children, families and the community that l am now part of.” |
Fiona PurvisBachelor of Early Childhood Studies Fiona has worked in Children’s Services since 1994. Fiona has worked with many age groups of children during this time. Fiona lives on a farm just outside of Yea and has two sons, Jack & Tom. They have both attended long day care since it opened in 2013 and they have loved their time here. |
Pam UsherBachelor of Education Pam has worked in the early childhood industry since 2000. “In 2010 I studied at Deakin University to become a kindergarten teacher, as this was a great passion of mine. I have been the three-year-old kindergarten teacher since 2013 and I have loved every minute." |
Chloe ThompsonDiploma in Children’s Services Chloe has been working in the Early Childhood Education since 2018. Chloe has recently joined our team this year. Chloe lives locally. |
Jessica ArmstrongCertificate III in Children’s Services Jess has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2016 and is currently studying and will complete her Diploma in Children’s Services later this year. Jess is a local and attended the Centre’s 4yo Kindergarten program as a child. |
Michelle DolmanCertificate III in Children’s Services Michelle also works in the Long Day Care room. Michelle lives locally and has worked in Children Services since 2006 Michelle said “I love working with children and helping them develop and learn through play.” |
Carmel HolmesAssociate Diploma of Social Science – Child Care Carmel feels that she is privileged to have worked in the childcare industry since 1995. Roles have included Team Member, Director and Teacher of Certificate 3 in Children Services. |
Harriet VlamisDiploma in Children's ServicesHarriet has worked as a private Nanny since 2006 and in early childhood since 2012. Harriet believes that the early years of a child’s life help form the person they will be. |
Carly WilsonDiploma in Children's Services Carly has been working in Early Years since 2019, first working for a family of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder as an applied Behavioural Analysis, before starting in Long Day Care in 2012. Carly lives in Seymour and has worked at our Centre since early 2016. |
Kathleen AlldrickAdvanced Diploma in Children's Services Kathleen has worked in Childcare since 2006. Kathleen moved to Yea in 2014 and has two young children. She enjoys working with Children to help them develop and grow. |
Penny RudgeDiploma in Children's Services Penny has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2007 and also works as a private Nanny. Penny has recently moved to the area and enjoys being outdoors. |
Bethany MugfordCertificate III in Children's Services Beth has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2014 and has experience as a private Nanny. Joining our team in 2018, Beth brings with her a passion for the care and wellbeing of children. |
JacqulineCertificate III in Children's Services Jacqui has been working with Early Childhood Education since 2007 and has joined our team in 2018. |
Sue CurryCertificate III in Children's Services Sue has lived in Yea since 2002 and enjoys being part of the community. Sue has been working in the long day care room since it opened in January 2013. Sue is also a School Crossing Supervisor (lollypop lady) for over 10 years and has been a family day carer for 6 years. “I enjoy seeing and interacting the Kinder children in our shared yard. I enjoy working in this industry and seeing the children grow from infancy through to primary school age and being part of their learning journey." |
Rhiannon AldousCertificate III in Children’s Services Rhiannon is a local and a keen netballer. Rhiannon has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2014 and as a private Nanny for local families. Rhiannon loves spending time with the children and watching them grow and learn. |
Natasha BrittonTash is currently completing her Certificate III in Children’s Services as a trainee at the Centre. Previously Tash volunteered at the Centre for many years. Tash lives locally and plans to continue her career in Early Childhood Education |
Leesa BreeLeesa’s three children have all attended the 3yo & 4yo kinder program over recent years. Leesa has been an active member of previous committees and works in the office part time in an admin role. |
